School House, Middleham

we were very impressed straight away as the building itself is stunning. After touring the bedrooms we were equally impressed with the inside, all the rooms are very comfortable and finished to a very high standard.

the house is large enough for a good party and plenty of room for people to spread out, loved the way the downstairs space flowed and felt that the disco music didn’t disturb anybody ( it wasn’t too loud). Just returned from wonderful holiday in Middleham,it was a perfect venue to celebrate my 70th birthday with family and friends, from various parts of the UK. Everyone enjoyed staying at such an outstanding property that is so well maintained.

Only one complaint from one member of my family – could you provide some slippers for the 6am horse parade down the main street (ha-ha) – it was a truly memorable time for us and the garden lent itself perfectly for the hog roast.
