We had a great weekend. The house was very warm and comfortable and, unlike some large houses we’ve stayed in, very quiet. There was everything we needed to enjoy a special birthday weekend. The area was lovely and we enjoyed a walk on the gallops from the house. The only criticism I would make is that I slept in The Rookery and there were no blinds or shutters on the velux windows which meant we were woken as soon as it got light.
